When I found these books I was instantly drawn to their color. Inspired by the aged binding and the lemony flavor (so to speak) I stacked all 3 together, slightly off kilter, and adorned the cover with die cut details and pages salvaged from its folds. The last pages read have been clearly marked with a ribboned, beaded bookmark. Whimsy and playful, art from the book jacket of another book sits at the bottom of each planting hole. Decorative papers and faux aged-hardware (with rhinestones), trim the edges of the planting holes topped off and lined with a golden belt, buckled in nickel finished metal to add a delicate touch.
